That's how they work on SubscribeStar.
I've been trying to encourage Patreon supporters to move their support to SS for a while now by bumping up the tier for the same amount of money. So for example, on Patreon $1 get's you in the Acquaintance tier, but on SS $1 will get you into the friend tier. For $5 on Patreon you get into the Friend tier, but on SS $5 will get you into the Best Friend tier and so on...
